I'll be honest with you — I know very little about tyres.

What I do know, after 40 years in business, is how to recognise talent, build a proposition and bring commercial discipline to an opportunity.

My son-in-law has been part of our family for nearly 20 years. Over Christmas 2025 I noticed a restlessness in him — so I listened. He talked about the fleet tyre world, where the money was being lost, why operators were paying far more than they needed to, and what structured oversight could do about it.

By Boxing Day evening the idea had a name. We registered Origin Tyre Management Ltd that night.
